Mission Statement

CrossKids Daycare Ministry exists to provide families with quality, affordable daycare in a loving Christian atmosphere. We seek to provide a family ministry reaching out to the entire family with Christ’s love and care.

Staff

Our director, Megan Duff, has 10+ years working with kids both in a daycare setting and in the community through social work. MaryAnne Duff, our lead teacher has a Bachelor's of Religious Education, Associate of Child Development and over 40 years of experience and development of 2 Daycare ministries. Our teacher have deep Christian character and a love of teaching children. They are trained in early childhood practices, CPR, Universal Precautions and First Aid certified. Their education is ongoing with yearly seminars.

Curriculum

The curriculum is designed to give your child a comprehensive learning experience that prepares them for entrance into Kindergarten. We include pre-reading, music, language development, early math, thinking skills, & social/life skills, combined with character building skills and Bible stories to help each child to become a well-rounded individual.
No child will be dissuaded from his/her parent’s beliefs.

Organization

CrossKids Daycare ministry operates under the supervision of the Minister and the oversight of the Elders of Crossroads Christian Church of West Lafayette. We are a registered Daycare Ministry in the state of Indiana and comply with it’s regulations for health and safety of the children.

Our Programs

PreSchool

Our program is designed to help prepare children for school academically, socially, and emotionally through care, play, and structure. They are encouraged to be curious and creative, but are given consistent boundaries and expectations for appropriate behavior.

Before and After School

Our school year program provides care for your child before and after school. They are able to catch the bus for Burnette Creek Elementary and Battle Ground Elementary from our school. They are given a snack after school and able to complete homework with teacher help.

Summer Elementary Care

We utilize workbooks to help review concepts and prepare them for the upcoming grade. They are encouraged to remain active, curious, and creative through the summer with games, art projects, activities, bi-weekly field trips and outside play.
Hours of Operation
The daycare hours are 6:30am – 6:00pm M-F.
There will be a late fee charged for late pick up.
We are closed for some holidays as listed in our Parent Handbook. .
Rates
Full Time         $485/month
4 days a week     $424/month      
3 days a week      $348/month
2 days a week      $252/ month
Daily Rate              $34 per day
Before School Care $9.00 per day
After School Care $10.00 per day

A $30 application fee will be collected upon registration.
Application
If you would like to apply for our preschool, before/after school, or elementary summer program, please contact us. Once a tour is scheduled, we will invite you to our classroom management program, Brightwheel, where you will be able to complete the application, see the handbook, and pay the application fee.

Brightwheel

Brightwheel is classroom management app that allows us to message parents, take attendance, share day to day information, manage information such as emergency contact, and accept payment. If you are a new parent, the Brightwheel YouTube channel has videos that can be helpful in getting started. You can invite others to the app if they will be frequently picking up your child or will also be making payments. This can be helpful if parents are splitting the cost of care.
